Nervous impulses move throughout the body as electrical signals that travel to and from the brain, vibrating at different frequencies to transfer energy and communicate information. Between each vertebra are passages called "intervertebral foramina", which allow nerve branches from the spinal cord to extend to the organs and muscles they control.
When we test a muscle, we challenge the nerve fibers, which in turn challenge the pathways of the body through which they flow. If there is a disturbance in frequency, the nerve fibers may misfire, resulting in an unlocked muscle response. Do not be confused into thinking this has anything to do with the strength of the muscle itself.
To reset this energy interplay thoroughly to restore health properly, seven factors must be considered:
1. Nerves: The nerve fibers must be functioning correctly; any damage or disruption affects communication within the body.
2. Neuro-Lymphatics: A clear lymphatic system is essential for flushing toxins and waste; congestion can hinder function.
3. Neuro-Vasculars: Adequate blood supply nourishes tissues and removes waste, ensuring optimal body function.
4. Acupuncture Meridians: Blockages in these energy pathways can disrupt balance and overall health.
5. Cerebrospinal Fluid: This fluid protects and nourishes the brain and spinal cord, playing a key role in nervous system health.
6. Nutrition: Balanced nutrition is crucial for all bodily functions, supporting muscle strength and overall well-being.
7. Emotions: Stored emotional trauma can lead to physical imbalances; releasing these emotions helps restore balance.
In Kinesiology, we address all of these factors, making this approach more holistic than other therapies. With this in mind, imagine how many changes are made within your body in one treatment.
