FAQ
As a Kinesiologist, I know that any change between treatments is exactly what’s meant to happen. Trust your body. Please read the FAQ as it is likely to answer any question you have between treatments.
Q: How will I feel after a Kinesiology session?
A: Many people feel great right after their session, but for others, it may take time. You might feel tired, spaced out, or a bit "off" as your body adjusts. This is normal, and healing can take time, especially if you're addressing long-term stress.
Q: I feel tired after my session. Is that normal?
A: Yes, this is common! Kinesiology helps shift your body from "fight-or-flight" mode to "rest-and-digest," which can leave you feeling tired as your body relaxes and recovers.
Q: Are the supplements affecting me negatively?
A: It’s unlikely. Supplements are chosen specifically for your needs, but check with your GP for possible medication interactions. Some supplements may cause temporary discomfort as your body adjusts, which is a positive sign.
Q: Can I use a supplement I already have at home?
A: It’s best to use the one identified during your session. The body is specific about what it needs, and different supplements may not work the same way.
Q: I feel sick after my appointment. Is that normal?
A: This could be part of the detox process. Your body might temporarily mimic illness as it clears toxins. These symptoms usually go away within a few days.
Q: My skin issues seem worse after treatment. Why?
A: Skin problems can worsen temporarily during detox. It may take several sessions to clear this up, especially if your gut health or emotional factors are involved.
Q: What is a "healing crisis"?
A: A healing crisis happens when toxins are released too quickly, causing temporary symptoms like fatigue or headaches. These are usually short-lived and indicate the treatment is working.
Q: I’ve felt unwell for longer than a few days. Should I be concerned?
A: If you feel unwell for more than a few days or you have become unwell between treatments, it’s likely unrelated to the treatment. Other factors like diet, stress, or illness may be at play.
Q: Should I buy more supplements after I run out?
A: It’s best to wait until your next session. Supplements work on different layers, so continuing the same one long-term may not be necessary.
Q: Someone online said I shouldn’t take this supplement. Should I listen?
A: Online advice is generic. Kinesiology uses muscle testing to give you tailored advice. Trust the recommendations you’ve been given.
Q: I haven’t noticed a difference from the supplements. Why?
A: Supplements work slowly, on a cellular level. It’s common not to see immediate results.
